Hooray for the smogless Mesquite :)

This last weekend Ben and I got to go with my family down to Mesquite again. The weather was so perfect :) . It was great to be able to spend time with my family :). The first night Ben and I went comic bowling and Ben accidently put the bumpers on and couldn't get them back down ( I think this was because he knew he'd only have a chance beating me if he had some extra help:P). Most of the weekend was lots of walking around outside and playing games with my family. The last night we were there we went to Sushi-Kasha and it was deliscous ! I also was able to go get some much needed new running shoes ! It was a great long weekend :)

The New Year and time to start actually blogging again :)

Happy New Years everyone !!! I haven't blogged in a long time so there's lots we need to catch up on :) First off Ben and I are ENGAGED !!! The date is set (June 25th) and the planning has begun !!! Needless to say , we are very excited :) Thanksgiving was fun :) We had two dinners ! Lol. We had an early dinner at Ben's families house with all of his Deming side and then we headed over to my Uncle Ernie's house for some more :) Aimee turned 14 !!! Although it is crazy how fast time flies, she already looks older than me so it wasn't too shocking:) 14, really , I thought you were turning 22 ;) We had a couple of dates last month that were really fun :) We went to Olive Garden downtown with our friend Nick and his girlfriend. Afterwards we watch a Bondock Saints at Nick's apartment. I fell asleep but Ben says it was really good :) The other date that was way fun I had two of my girlfriends from highschool come over with their boys and we all played cranium. Ben and I won of course ;) It was super fun ! Christmas , a client that i work with came home with my family :) It was really fun to be able to take her to the family parties and open gifts from santa with her on Christmas morning :) And finally New Years Eve we had a big family party at my house ( which I cleaned all day for ) and played games through out the night :) So Merry belated Christmas to you all and have a happy new year !!!
